Join us every 3rd Monday at Ridgely's Run Community Center 8400 Mission Road, Jessup MD, from 6pm-7pm.
On Sunday, November 23rd 2014, the Howard County NAACP Youth Council hosted its annual Fight Against Hunger Thanksgiving dinner to benefit County residents in need. Food was provided by the Howard County Police Department and others, and volunteers included the Chief of Police and members of the Howard County Council.

For more than 20 years, the Howard County NAACP Youth Council has devoted its energy to passionately advocating for the hungry, needy and politically under-represented members of our community. You can contribute to the future of someone in need through donations of money, food, or time.
On Saturday, May 30th, we held the Taking Care of Business forum for young men. There were interactive sessions on finances, careers, and health and wellness along with information from the Howard County Police Department and others.
We celebrated Martin Luther King,, Jr. Day by helping other volunteer organizations in Howard County.

October 2014 - The Youth Council attended the Annual Conference of the NAACP Maryland State Conference, where its Past-President, Kalia Hall, was honored with the 2014 Youth Leadership/Service Award.
October 2014 - Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Iota Lambda Omega Chapter and its affiliate, the Pearl Foundation, Inc., selected the Howard County NAACP Youth Council to receive the Human Rights and Social Justice Award for its contributions and vital work on behalf of Howard County, Maryland residents. The luncheon and awards ceremony was held on 10/20/14.
